This office will serve as a permanent presence in Peru’s daily life. We will be accessible to the government ministries that we work with and give the charity a permanent face and a place to interact with the people we serve.
The charity has solidified its base of operation in Peru. We have reorganized our staff, adding Sandra Carbajal as the new Executive Secretary and Alejandro Tejada as Project Manager. Some of you might know Sandra from her years as the Executive Secretary to the International Alpaca Association. Alejandro was the manager of the Alpaca Fiesta in Peru for many years. He has extensive experience managing projects in the highland alpaca communities.
Alejandro is in charge of the construction at Casa Chapi and our ongoing missionary work in local communities. Sandra is in charge of mission logistics and governmental relations in Peru.
