Quechua Benefit is proud of the fact that we are a volunteer organization, no member of the Board of Directors receives a salary or monetary compensation. The missions to Peru are based on our guiding principal of ”volunteerism” and each mission team member pays their way to Peru, room, board and transportation while they are in country. In 2010, 89.3% of our costs went to Peruvian programs, 2.3% went to management expenses and 8.4% went to fundraising costs.

$125 buys a welcome package to provide for the child’s first days at Casa Chapi
$1,000 supports a child at Casa Chapi for one year. For every $1,000 pledged as a Casa Chapi Benefactor, a matching pledge will also be made by a generous donor.

Benefactor Benefits

• An open invitation to stay at Casa Chapi for up to a week: free of charge. Bring your kids or a friend and interact with the kids or sight see in the spectacular Colca Valley.
• Regular updates on the life of the children at Casa Chapi, photos letters and activities will be emailed to each Benefactor.
• Communicate with the kids via pen pal letters.
• Be listed on the Quechua Benefit website as a Casa Chapi Benefactor.
• Feel your heart expand with the knowledge that you are giving a young Quechua child hope where often there is none.

We need your help to build the Chapel

The building fund needs an additional $40,000.00 to pay for the construction of the Chapel. Each donor who finds it in their heart to contribute to the building fund will be commemorated along with our lead benefactors Perry and Lisa on a brass plaque at the entry to the Chapel. We would also love to find five generous souls who would donate the funds necessary to add stained glass windows to the chapel.
